Tobias Vincent Maguire also called as Tobey Maguire is an American actor. Maguire began his career in the 1990s. Since the beginning of his career Tobey was known for his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the Spider-Man film series. Tobey Maguire was born in Santa Monica, California. His father was a construction worker and a cook. Much of Tobey Maguire’s childhood days were spent by moving from here and there and by the year 2000 Maguire took the GED to officially graduate from high school. During the year 1989, Maguire made first appearance in a feature film The Wizard. In this move he acted the role of a goon of Lucas Barton, one of three competitors at a video game competition, and had no lines.

In the initial years Tobey Maguire acted as a child actor in the early 1990s. Till 2002 Maguire played role of a teenage boy and from then on he appeared in different commercials and movie roles while working opposite of such stars as Chuck Norris Walker, Texas Ranger, Roseanne Barr Roseanne, and Tracey Ullman Tracey Takes On.
In many of his auditions Tobey Maguire found himself to compete opposite of child actor Leonardo DiCaprio. Since then both the actor established a harmonious relation and together appeared for the 1990 telivision series Parenthood. He also acted in the 1993 movie This Boy's Life.
