George Clooney is a famous person in the world of gambling and has earned enough name and fame in this world. The former star of E.R. with numerous hit films like the Solaris, Intolerable Cruelty and Syriana not only starred in all these hit films but also made a remarkable and powerful presence in gambling oriented movies like the Ocean's 11 and Ocean's 12. He is the co-owner of Las Ramblas, a casino-hotel-condominium complex, which is still under construction and is about to be completed in 2007.

Later he played role of a fluffer on the series The Facts of Life. He played "Bobby" the detective on one episode of The Golden Girls. He got his first major break as a supporting actor in the sitcom Roseanne, playing Roseanne Barr's overbearing boss Booker Brooks. Slowly for his much acclaimed works he started achieving stardom when he was selected to play Dr. Doug Ross on the hit NBC drama ER from 1994 to 1999. Clooney was also partnered with Deborah Leoni in their production company Mirador Entertainment. Prior to this success George Clooney also co- wrote Good Night, and Good Luck along with Grant Heslov a close friend. Heslov was also the president of Section Eight Productions, Clooney and director Steven Soderbergh's production company. In August 2006, Clooney and Heslov started a new company which was named as Smoke House.

He also made powerful presence in some other television show like the episode Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride, which was a role with no conversation except normal dog noises. He also appeared in some other films such as the film South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut. George Clooney was also given role as new Batman in Batman & Robin
